A striking Edwardian town house was in need of an elegant, yet contemporary paved patio in a size, scale and proportion to suit the house, reflecting the chic interior of the newly extended kitchen and a garage recently converted to a gym. The redesign created an area that blended seamlessly with the kitchen, creating a lovely large outdoor living room paved in the most stunning Purbeck stone with inset wood detail. Contemporary lighting along with a built in bench seat, and simple yet effective planting completed the stylish feel.
